Well it was a spontaneous project but I decided to make some billet hood hooks for my 06 sxr. TNT Performance Engineering is my name I am making all kinda of custom stuff for myself and buddies so I thought I might as well put my name out there. Here are some pics they work slick, tight fit...
ya I know what you sayin I just put a flow control valve on my 06 sxr just yesterday. With that stock "JetPower" type exhuast I put my flow control valve on my water into the top of the pipe. the top cooling line nearest the bulkhead. I don't know how else to say it without taking a picture and...
were all moderators? thats cool i feel sometimes like people are real deek heads. hopefully people will settle down and see that this is a great place to learn and share wisdom and plain ol' have fun!!!!
ya sweet build i know exactly what yours goin through. same sawzall show and everything haha. here is a pic of my build. its on hold due to buying a SN hull. i also made up a custom aluminum handle pole and am doin dual nose exhuast. but keep it up your on the home stretch!
Sick dude ya I got a Sn hull here I am workin on and like the hood. really would like to know more about the air intake and how engine clearance is? is that a problem?
From what I have heard the total loss is a pain in the ass you have to pull the battery and charge it every ride or so. For me I want the perfomance with the reliablility. So I would go with the aluminum flywheel. Wamiltons is TBM? Jetinetics is another good aftermarket flywheel company. another...
ya looks good Crab, is that the wifes ski? and I have never really seen how you reall glass them in around them like that. Thanks for the dumb dumb guide for me : )
ya a dilema I am soon to run into. I was gonna go with a hydro turf hood seal on my SJ. I have a Hyrdo-turf hood seal on my ol' 550 and they work like oem. But I can see how nice the yamaha oem hood seals are. I just wish they were cheaper good or not they are spendy!!!
Ya this is a Killer fun trick. a controlled wipe out as I like to put it. fun to land funneir than hell to watch people attempt for the first time. I like to do this on my 550 you really have to commit.
as everyone has said a SJ is no comparision. I have alot of fun on my dads 650 conversion ski and mine before if sunk : ( but there light they have good power when set up right. and they are cheap. I could have 1500 bucks in my motor of my Sj so easy its ridiculous. I like 550's but you can't go...
Is that blue west coast pipe 550 or 650? It looks like a 650 pipe I have and I really love because it is one of the few aftermarket pipes that will fit in a 550- 650 conversion ski. just a thought.
yep thats a 1990 the last year of the PP engine. Its was a good boat. It a bummer I bought an 06' sxr 800 to race for this coming season. First ride since I owned it payed $5000. Big deal for me I just turned 16. went to the lake with my buddy colin. and I was runnin bouys practicing a little...
here ya go
again sorry to jack thread!!!
this baby was pretty when it was all together. pretty impressive little guy too. I raced again about 15 sxr's and got 7th on my lil' 5fiddy. pretty cool but man that things sounded radical! like a real throaty freestyle ski. gave me goosebumps... what a...
Well I have a few good pics of it when it was alive.... : ( and I got some more pics of it dead... : ( sad deal but if you want ill do a post on my build with all my pics of the ski. It was one of my top build of my 16 years that ski and a custom mini chopper that won some Harley show awards...
