I just sold a shaft to the kid that I bought the green hurricane from. I put the shaft in his Solas pump .2 slams on the shaft and even the front bearing stayed on the shaft when it came out. A couple slams on the threaded end and it all slid right back together. Zero tools needed lol
I'd say...
That's the coffman classic pipe. You rarely see it with the coffman manifold but cool that it's the complete coffman setup. It's the last ones they made since it's the Grey powder coated version. The others were polished chamber with orange head pipe. Supposedly according to coffman, that pipe...
It's on the left side standing in the tray on the bulkhead behind the exhaust and next to the electrical box. It's only glued on and I've seen a lot that fall off and are either gone or not found until the motor is out and engine compartment is disassembled
Mid shaft housing incerts rotated for box clearance, but the box looks rough and I don't see the purpose of it. Eliminates the 2 brackets but pretty simple to put the box and brackets in the tray dash and mark the holes. Looks like you lose space back there with the built in box. Nice shiny new...
Doesn't surprise me that 50s have epoxy. You can only hog out the throat so big before it's paper thin or burns thru. Just about all venturi that are AM get whatever they use to hold them in there
2 guys were looking for a RN waterbox some time back. Both called me but I thought I was sold out. One just jumped out of the pile and bit me the other day when i was digging thru junk so I thought I'd post it for sale. $200 plus shipping.
I sold one maybe a hair cleaner than that about 8 years ago and got 4500. Took a while for the right buyer to find it. Stick to your high price and some mature buyer will say I gotta have that. Post it on every Facebook group you can to get as many eyes on it as possble
According to lying sack of crap WDK guy, he said ages ago that tiny hulls can't hold enough foam to keep it afloat. That's why he didn't bother with foam and had open bulkhead.
16 is minimum age in crap Ca. Look at Taylor Curtis kid coy. And Joey pearces kid Jake. You're the one that has to teach the kid what to do. It's on you always.
Didn't read the crap. Put a retriever on it and make sure you know where it's at when it sinks. Pool noodles and foam ain't going to save it. Lost my badass freak and would have lost my fvpro without a retriever. TNT floated my fvpro up from 42ft in Davey Jones locker after 6 hrs of running...
I ran the dry pipe from 03 to 09 and never had a problem using the 152.5 H and 80L jets factory recommended. Lost a few cranks and burned up a few foam waterbox cradles with their recommendations but that's it. Had a few ADA girdles heads on there too. Word to the wize, extended periods of wfo...
Nobody wants to hear the truth. They want to be coddled and patted on the back. The truth is negative in most cases and forum moderators want positive responces even is its all bs dreamer talk. Yes Johnny you can do do it desiptite the critics.
I hear ya sparky but you're not convincing...
If your thinking you're going to make money, forget it. If you just want to design your own for personal use, all good. You might sell a couple if what you come up with is good. My buddy senor built a fix steer that he likes and sold a few. He wasn't trying to take over the market, just maybe...
