That slightly worn screw will only mean that what's recommended for stock screw turns won't be exactly accurate since it Lets a tiny bit more gas thru than one that's not worn. 2 turns on a stock screw isn't really that much since the threads on a stock screw are fine threads.aftermarket screws...

Rrp billet pole. I beat the brakes off this hull with a dasa 1000. Gets more air than a Chan . Lands hard but that means it doesn't sink down when it lands. Better for second release on combos

If it takes off after a primer pump, it's lean on the bottom. Not sure what you got for pipe or jets but if it's not jetted correct or you got some low speed circuit or crap rebuild kit problem. Fuel related. Back to the drawing board

That squeek noise you hear is the front bearing. Those get rusty when water gets left in the front cover. If that bearing gets loose, then the shaft moves and it can strip on the big bendix gear.

It's a Westcoast works pipe. I had a brand new one with all the paperwork ages ago. Sold it on ebay. Most all aftermarket pipes require basically the same jetting. Coffman says to run 142.5 mains and 122.5 pilot on single carb. I don't do half jet sizes since that's about nothing in screw turns...

I just read your opening statement and your pilot jets are too small . That's why it dies when you stab it from idle. Too much air all at once. That's why it takes off better at higher rpm because you are off the pilot circuit and getting more gas. If it dies, you need to jump up about 3 jet...

Sudco 42 is not big enough for a 750 motor unless you don't mind having no power. Put dual carbs on it if you want max performance and don't listen to anybody that suggests a single over duals. Single 44 or 46 works but it ain't power

Is it marked 36V or is it actually stamped 13/16? The old straight blade 36v were in a lot of old 650 boats that came thru the boneyard. It's probably going to have good bottom end being that low and stainless
