just run the domes you got, don't try and make them, or just buy a new head. To run smaller domes the rest of the motor should be built and race gas used. Smaller domes can also lessen the life of the engine.

You may have to rerout the throttle cable at a different angle for it to operate smoothly. Why not use the stock steering cable?

I think that I will keep my new impeller for a new housing from SBT. If need to ride sooner I can put an old pump that I sanded in with a semi decent impeller, Thanks for everyones input.

Yes, thanks, impros and atlantic jet sports reman them too. Do you know if the ones from SBT will hold up in the salt longer than a stock housing? The sanding is working, but taking forever. I am asking this because I bought a used pump off of a reputable seller with over 6000 jet ski part...

I was researching around on the internet, and I read somewhere that the old wear ring could be cut and then pulled out. Then either a yami or seadoo wear ing can be placed into the stock housing. If anybody know more about this, please explain. Where to buy, any how to tips. Thanks

I also cut my pole where the red lines are in the photo and re tapped the holes to move the chin pad farther forward on the pole.

looks like SN pad with an AC racing pole. Mine did the same thing. I ground the metal away in the front where the the plastic hooks under the metal so the pad slides farther forward.
