Riser bars and new style XMW steering = no. A very novel idea, but obviously not for every setup. The Cold Fusion riser bar steering is pretty much the all round best steering system on the market IMO. You can use straight bars, riser bars and get rid of the swing effect by rolling the bars...

I think it's all just luck isn't it? Every crank out there will fail under the right (wrong) circumstances so it's more just a matter of checking what you have when you get it I think. I would generally lean towards oem, but then again, I put together a beater surf engine with a Jetmaniac...
