You can fix a front cover by oil wet sanding it on a flat surface, been there done that, works. Or get a good front cover they work fine.

This would make a great surf motor too, I had mine in the Freak and it was loads of fun in surf with 46's. Really enjoy this motor in flatwater now. Reed Sewell runs this motor in the surf and goes BIG. Great fast revving motor, glws !

The 62T head needs to use a 62T head gasket regardless of what cylinder it is installed on for the cooling holes to line up properly.

No one has mentioned that the impeller needs colossal torqued with a big wrench, driveshaft tool secured in a vice. There's no issues with it backing off then using never seize on the threads.

I forgot about them, maybe able to get some XS type trim cables for a good price.
