Your Model ski has a 80mm reduction nozzel on it already, I do not know if the the 650 nozzel is larger or not, so unless you can find one that is larger than 80mm I wouldnt Change. You would have to have yours bored.
Both my SX and SXI do this. Both still use Choke and is just a normal part of the Startup Routine, I am the Second owner on my SX and have had for 10 Yrs, and bought my SXI new and have had for 10 YRs.
If it has Keihin Carbs, and the springs were relpaced during the Rebuild. Than most likley it is the POP off is to high. should be 20-25 with Keihin Carbs and Factory pipe and after market Flame arresters..

NO you should not need to remove the Butterflies, the screws that hold them in are Stamped on the bottom so they will not come out during normal operation of the Ski. if the carbs are leaking out of the Seals on the throtle shaft the removing the shaft to replace the seals is warranted..

As I recall most kits have several springs in them, did you use spings from the Kit or reuse your old ones? Also are running an aftermarket Flame arrester?
