Wife and I have been to San Antonio she has friends just who just moved last year outside of Austin. I really enjoyed it. Side note: I had the meat sweats for a few days after frequent dining on real roadside brisket and local tacos.. The platters of beef and greens I consumed for about 8...

-I have/had off and on group of friends whom always want to have a good time usually at others expenses. I used to hear all the time and often still do..
" Hey man bring the skis out.. hey you bring the boat and wake boards? Hey, Grab some food and snacks etc etc" I got tired of...
Building an F1pro is not going to save you any time or money in the long or short run of things. There's a lot of fitment snafus and unforeseen material costs. thus can be said for any kit or incomplete layup for that matter.. You really need to be patient and save some cash.. summer is coming...
@special fx Did do the 900 triple in his. Evidently he preferred the 900cc port timing and characteristics better for his build. plus the exhusat manifold was smaller than a kawi 1100 and allowed him to still run a Bpipe. check it out

I've been riding standups off and on since I was about 6 years old. Had a few dirt bikes and a race kart.. Motor Sports are never cheap. and typically a low ROI when you sell them off. If you really cant afford it. Don't Buy it.. A better time will come back around.. Toys and Hobbies are Fine...
When you first hit the start switch.. did it turn over moaning " Blunder, Blunder,Blunder"?
" Its stupid, its archaic, dated, underpowered, and completely ridiculous. But it was perfect. END OF STORY! " Thanks for sharing swap!

-Looks really great Nate. stick with it and ride it like you stole it! if all else fails you can light it on fire.. keep up the good work brother
Looks like it's coming along nicely! I get Excited for these hodgepodge old part builds. New parts and hulls are nice and fancy but this build looks like a good ole fashion "love/hate" relationship, keep up the good work!
Not sure what his status is on still making them but you can try PMing @shmity1 on here and see if he can help you out. also listed in the other thread wamiltons makes a kit. you should measure your steering cable as well to verify what cable is in there. if you have a pre 2008 cable then you...
Have all 3. in order of preference.. for what its worth. I really don't care for the carbon tech. while they can yield better response than stock fiber or metal reeds depending on application. If your going to open it up and replace.. pay few dollars more and go with a nicer crisper set like...
Wet, what was your temp and humidity if you recall? I used both white and now the black rustoleum appliance epoxy. I sprayed it while 85+ degrees and let sit for 2 days. my bottom was sanded with some 160 grit and acetone wiped down. then sprayed off with compressed air. it is hard as nails. I...
look into a schmitty kit for post 2008 poles. ( which I can see you have there with the cast aluminum plate stop. not a bolted stop like the earlier sj's) also wamiltons sells a update kit so you can run an older sj cable and get full throw out of your steering.. hope that shines some light on...
