Polaris elecs do not respond well to weak batteries, don't ask me how I know. I chased my tail several hours before at the lake only to find I had a failing AGM battery. after I replaced it she hit the bricks again. I am not saying that is your issue. but you need to try both DC stator tests...
Here yah Go Bird... I cannot find the pic of mine when I installed it. but basically Watcon sell them as a set. its a course threaded brass sleeve or insert. Theyre often called face bushings or reducer bushings. but it will be hard to find the size small enough in the plumbing world. also the...

I'll try to post a pic of what they look like in your other thread. I use them and theyre small and typically fit under a exhaust outlet
I rest my case.. I think a lot of the head scratching can stop and just live and let live as " A learning experience " Just a few months ago I remember you posting something about cylinder scoring or piston marks. I was curious if you put them back in the same cylinder sleeves after a hone job...
It would behoove oneself to take a few well focused photographs of said headpipe and send them to the Speedysprocket and work out a alternative repair plan... just saying cheaper than a new TIG!
Just tuning in here.. I didn't see where this was asked upfront. But " Were these new replacement pistons?" installed after porting? Or are they the same pistons as of last season when you rebuilt it the first go around?
I believe that is a Polaris Liberty 800 XC Sled head. The top is oring'd to sit on a one piece casted head with built in domes. OEM heads are don't have interchangeable domes. but some aftermarket head bases can...
Its crazy how the older used "quickie" builds tally up so fast.. you think your still way under that of a AM build.. but now thankfully those are becoming more reasonable to the newcomers. but hey that's the hobby and the sport you/we choose to support. As long as you have fun , keep costs in...
you can use a new oem 61x exhaust gasket and lay it up on a 6m6 Coffman manifold and trace it to match up the 61x ports. no manifold is going to be precise with a perfect match from the foundry. but you can get it very close this way and it will still perform much better than the stock setup...
i have had both exhausts. I had a protec"REV" black fx1 pipe that was full cast. not the half stainless DBP chamber that points downward. the manifold and elbow are the same.
The coffmans I had on multiple setups both kawi 750s and Yamaha 701s. I really liked the coffmans better as well as the...
My neighbor and I clean up the street and sweep all the road sand and gravel. Pick up trash and clean out storm drains etc. we trim trees and bushes where kids cut thru backside of houses to get to school etc. I've never asked a thing from the hoa when they were running the show. Last month I...
sadly, it is what is.. you cant change other peoples behavior and living standards. But its usually the obedient and contributing homeowner who gets burned for all's actions.. we are bullied to make up for others losses. A lot of the places that are in shambles are tenants whom don't know nor...
Agreed BK. they have their standards that can keep order and sensibilities. But at what cost and it'd be nice have someone to actually coordinate and speak to. We have no one inside the neighborhood or community. It's now a large corporation that over sees commercial and residential properties...
we've had 3 management companies in the last 7 years. they've changed names but its all the same contact personnel. The office has moved a few times and only gets bigger and fancier. I'm not anti organization by any means if its a benefit to all. but this is not and all of us neighbor have tried...
yes I understand that. I believe this guy already mentioned in another thread he added protec trim a stubby cone and was having the CDI remapped by watcon. he was asking what mods he needed to make his faster and asking about available parts for sale.
that being said Octane hulls are plagued...
