Why do you think you need a roll-on epoxy primer? That stuff is almost as hard to sand out as the epoxy resin.

You can't really get a feel for the wave size or where you're at in relation to a wave, but its easier to watch than a jerky helmet cam. Love the view of the bails!

I really like the US comp 'house' brand of epoxy. It's really cheap and easy to work with.
