Never planned on o ringing the stock head, the guy above mentioned that the protec has provisions to be o ringed... And being an aftermarket head, I'd assume the domes are different shape, Which correct me if I'm wrong, but would make it easier to manage the squish while still removing material...

I had the protec extended (by about 3") and cut it down to about 1" extended and the. D cut it on top of it. For the price of a stock one and what I could sell mine for, it wasn't worth the hassle to me. I like the results Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I think the double cut won't "walk" as easy as the single. Also, wd40, ATF, kerosene, diesel all work great for lube and to help the keep the bit clean but on the downside, that stuff flies everywhere. Been there, done that. Now I use candle wax. Works like a charm. A sanding flap wheel or drum...

Try eBay. 1/4 shaft for air tools and I think 1/8 for a dremel. I used 1/4 in a drill press like you did and it works great. Lube the burr end with candle wax and it keeps the aluminum from gumming up the bit
