Well me too but if I could have gotten an OEM here in the states, I would have already had one... I just figured that the UK would have been able to get them as well just like Austrilia, Japan, New Zealand, ect.

Yeah on a lot of FPP instructions for different models, they claim to leave the bottom completely closed.

They are the same head pipe. Mariner and FPP had some deal back in the day. I got a FPP Kaw 650 pipe once and the instructions were by Mariner yet the head pipe had Factory Pipe machined into it. On those 750 mod pipes, they used ot come with Mariner manifolds. Just like the FPP Kawasaki...

You guys should actually try riding it like that wiyh the stool! I rode my X2 like that once with a folding chair it was different. You sit up pretty high compared to a traditional sit down.

Nice progress, I like the look of it. I wish you did something similar with the SXR hull instead of a more direct OEM copy but hey, I probably won't buy one for another 5 years so my opinions don't really matter. Plus that 800 X2 hull is pretty darn tempring too...

WFO has an X2 and a few other stand ups as well. He likes to do things a little differently then the rest of the crowd. I think a flat deck is a great idea, why not do it to a 650 SX, they are a dime a dozen.

Yeah I had a 650 SX years back and dumped a bunch of money into it trying to make is an SXi Pro (this was before SXR's). Needless to say it still sucked and wasn't that great of a ski. I ended up parting it out.
