Sounds like one hell of a law suit for the people making these. Some one is bound to misuse it and not want to take responsibility for their actions when their ski torpedoes something or someone.
How many of you guys use on total loss vs. a charging system? That could be a very valid point. But the manufacturer should be assuming that all use charging since thats what comes stock.
I knew a guy once that made a full size ski rc. Can't remember what hull he used as I wasn't into ski's then, but he did say people on the lake always drove up to it thinking it was a run away ski.
You may be likely to pull the bolts of of the trunk. Cars are made from pretty thin uni-bodies. There is a lot of leverage from a hitch hauler and a few bumps in the road won't help either.
I made my own hitch hauler for $60 and even used a 1/4" wall tube which is most likely overkill but the peace of mind is nice and I have 10' of 1/4" 2x2 angle left over.
That's a pretty naive. It would seem to me that with his habitual abuse of customers there may be some intention. After not coming through for some many it would seem like a good idea to stop taking deposits. Also its bad business to spend peoples money until both ends of the deal are made so...
The only good thing is it was all cheap stuff so its cheap to build back up. What if your Taiwan rod takes out your 10 mm billet cylinder and heavily modified case or worse yet your billet case too.
Been down that road and I ate all the cost. I knew when the motor was built that there is no...
It's been along time since I've looked but I believe the jets are 140 and 140. The jets can go larger maybe 200 and if larger were required for methanol you may have to drill them out as you said. But from talking around the body of the carb has the capacity to flow more fuel than you will need...
I run B.J. 48's so I'm fairly confident in being able to flow the fuel. I am also running MS109 and CHP which are heavily oxygenated fuels that require larger jets and more fuel than regular race gas.
