Krashindustries.com is selling 997cc RTR Skis for $12,000.00

Hulls are all available now, some minor changes made to accommodate the KV motor but will ride the same, holds are all about preference IMO, but they are solid, adjustable and will work fine for most. The flat water 50 Cal is being flipped by a local in OZ with a piped 701, its on Facebook and...

Krashindustries.com is selling 997cc RTR Skis for $12,000.00

Are you serious? RRP only 150 skis in 4 years..... If that’s the case I’ve built 10% of them.... The sport is a bit bigger world wide than most realize, a small percentage of the parts development I’ve been involved in get sold to the US. The team behind this is also a lot bigger than most...

What Happened to Joe Kenny and his Blue Bomber

Yep. One got destroyed by a Kid in Victoria a few years ago. I told him he had a bit of Jetski history but he cut and shut it, painted it orange then tried to sell it for a year or more... Went up to NSW but not recognisable as a JK ski now. Sad to see ...

Convert Kawi to Yami Start Stop Switch?

Not the same colour. I haven't got one here but it's an easy thing to figure out. The square male plug in the kawi switch uses the same pins as the 2 Yamaha ones. So just push out all the pins in all the plugs and use the kawi male plug body with the Yamaha switch pins. Just had one in the...

Convert Kawi to Yami Start Stop Switch?

Remove the pins from the black and white plugs on the end of the Yamaha switch lead and put them int the Kawasaki plug end you remove from your old switch. You have a bit extra black and white that a cable tie will take care of. Do it all the time.

Pop off psi, what should I be aiming for?

This is a problem. Yes it requires pressure, you will get opinions here but it needs that valve to work. You killed it with the contact cleaner. Replace it with a proper ski oneway valve (OEM is best) not a MX breather like I see on skis that don't run properly all the time. That pipe in OZ...

Super Jet Cylinders have to match each other?

Its had a port clean up, hard to say its any good though with out measurement, looks very mild. I would give it a .5 and a hone to minimise the crappy chamfer if I was building it for a customer, but you need to do both as others have said.

    Super Jet Worx pump shoe

The Worx is drilled and needs no grinding in a Superjet. Aftermarket hulls are a lottery for fit and I never work on blasters so can't advise. I have used most of the aftermarket shoes and the Worx is the cleanest and best quality IMO, made from a nice grade of alloy. I have fitted 20+ of these...

    Freestyle Bendix / Starter stripping

Yep. Get a cable and email ATP for the 40 degree flash, set the static at 40 and you are good to go. We have a lot of time with flames, the big motors at 50 are kicking back and stripping/busting bendix's, this flash works. I set all my early flames at 48 static and factor this into the...

Super Jet Dasa Single Intake Question

Don't know about the single as we build for power but the dual v2 Dasa manifold has an oring in a recessed area that the reed cage sits in, its also angled up. It would fit other cages but they won't seal with the oring due to the smaller face on the other cages. You can get another dual...

Free ride vs freestyle vs race engine

I wish I had a long arm (im in Oz) so I could shake your hand..... This is the difference between great drivelines and the rest, set up for what YOU have done properly and this info is not online, its time spent setting up what YOU have, then testing and tuning on water. Most people I build...

Power factor wet or dry pipe Vs RRP carbon wetpipe

Yep, its been done by the owner of a DASA 1100 I built, works well. Tested it on a TPE 964 with a wet PFP that was not split open (so small inner) and made a substantial difference to bottom end according to the rider, no tuning either, just swapped the chambers and rode it. He over rotated a...

    SX/SXi/SXi Pro Benedix shaving

Ok then, this is your problem... Kawi bendix washer is on the front between the cover and the bendix. No washer on the rear between the bendix and case. Bendix teeth will rub on the flywheel ring gear if the washer is on the rear. See this a lot with rebuilds..
