Who on here should I talk to about having a flywheel balanced after I have removed the magnets?
I saw an earlier post where @MTRHEAD said Kawasaki was 54 degrees I think (?)
That difference is suspiciously similar to the static that some people add with the little thing that moves the pickup, maybe that's why there are two different numbers floating around?
You could just send it to me to finish lightening it and balance it...
Cool, couple questions though.
How much additional weight do you remove once the magnets are all out?
Also, do you dynamic or static balance them?
I highly doubt anyone on this forum dynamically balances. bob at Rad use to send them out to a place if I recall. Good balance machine is major coinCool, couple questions though.

Im setting up an sxr when the lock down finished for a friend, I have not done a kawasaki yet, well not on a zeel anyway. I like to set it close enough to run and then work out what the engine is telling me when its running. I have a had a different reading when just cranking. I to have heard lots of different figures. If the figure you enter is smaller than what it really is say you put in 47 and its really 54 you will be running another 7 degrees of advance. I have not checked to know which one is right but i will be soonI saw an earlier post where @MTRHEAD said Kawasaki was 54 degrees I think (?)

@Jr. These are the original notes I did if you want to double check.Attacking a slightly different animal with a zeal this summer. I am running a Zealtronic on a KV997. The KV flywheels and pickups are compatible. Havent had it in the water yet but she is running really nice on the stand.
There are some changes from the commonly used 760 set up.
The Static Angle of the KV997 is 40*
The wiring is as follows.
Zeal Wire=Krash Wire
Red=Red
Orange=Orange
Blue=Blue
Black/White=White
Green/White=Green/Yellow
Black=Common Ground in ebox
Brown/Green=Ignition Map Switch (optional)
Also the peak advance of the KV997 stock CDI is 28*. I am starting out using the wax curve wth its peak of 32*.

Will do.No I dont, maybe a quick message to Borut
Nice thats awesome.Made an updated wiring diagram that uses both new and old colors for the Krash KV997.
Also made a plug label. This would be looking from the back side orientation of the plug that comes on the PDCIS-02T.
