No, he's doing a SN conversion and has the bottom deck almost done, he shortened the hull, and installed the scupper, have you ever seen the pump dump from XFT, I never seen anything like it. It's not a tube the whole way, it turns into a fiber glass piece you glass to the dog house (the box the pump goes in). He water checked it and it leaked a little, so he added more glass. I can't wait to see it finished. I would love to build another hull, but I am goin for the power this time. Keep up the good work, Billy

you could always install the scupper and leave the tray out and fill the inside with water to see if it leaks into the scupper, thats the way Jason checked his scupper.

got the inside good and clean (with amonia/water) and re-painted it with marine paint.

got the hood project nearly complete... 1st layer of marine filler complete and sanded. Just need to fill in the low spots, sand again and seal with a coat of epoxy.

Just got my XFT 3" monster scupper in today, along with my wrist pins from Riva... looks like this week i can finally finish putting my motor together and finish the tray - install scupper, lay in the poly foam, and install the cut out tray.

after this weekend my ski will be just about ready for paint... stoked.

Now if we can just get the weather to warm up and melt that damn ice!!!

thanks guys... all the work I put into it, and I am not even going to use it. LOL - it's going to my nephew in Florida who got his hood busted up at Daytona. I am buying an AM hood.

well I am sure he is going to appreciate all your hard work...I wish I had an uncle like you!

hahaha... thanks...

he's a great kid, and was crushed when he got dinged at daytona... he thought his weekend was over. We duct taped the hole, and used a ratchet strap to hold his hood on...

Thankfully, Kevin (Legdrag) gave him a loaner hood to hold him over until I get this one shipped down to him.

got the tray all together and fitted my WCF footholds for installation. Finally epoxy sealed the hood and it will just need a quick light sand before painting.
