Talked to the Smurf...it's not the splines, however, one of the shafts is bent. It may have to go to Precision Straighteners downtown for an hour or two. (a bent shaft would cause all that vibration and problems).
They are trying to shim the motor right now and give it one more go first...

did you seal the inter. shaft assy. to the firewall w/ silicone??? if not you will get stupid cavitation from air leaking into the pump area from the engine comprtment.

It just sounded like this Horrible loud ass vibration and the ski wasn't moving anywhere really. (sounded like grinding, but could've been cavitation from air)

seal it good and let us know... it kinda sounds like it may be something more.
Well air leak seemed to be solved in the 3 minutes I rode it before realizing we forgot to hook the cooling lines to the pump. She got a little hot. Compression check and ride plate drop later.
Pump issue felt solved though. I'll know for sure tomorrow. Sealed everything really good with silicone.

Nope, it was the air leak! (we thought it was the prop for a minute, but that was never removed)

OMG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! This thing completely rips and shreds and slices and dices better than anything Grandma ever had!!!! It just added 20% to my air without me trying any harder at all!!!

it was absolutely amazing. it is so boyant and light feeling. it felt almost as good as my big bore mag pump SJ. thanks for letting us shred that thing.
