Got a bit more done today. Ready to bolt and go except for getting trim hooked up on nozzle, holes for pissers/bilge, exhaust/gas/waterbox install, hood/hull hooks and TURF.:bad3: Gonna try to get all that done tomorrow. Time is against me with "honey-do" list. All these pics were taken early today with mock-up for pole. Missing hood seal in pics, pole bracket bolts and breather tubes.

Did you have a hard time getting the end headbolts in? Do you know the head is on backwards? Normally the cooling outlets are on the same side as the carbs with ADA heads...

I don't remember having a difficult time, but that's been a bit since I installed it. Is there any risks to running it as it sets?
Waternut and you hit the nail on the head with that suggestion. I started to grind the whole thing down vs. groove cut and I read your suggestion and tried it. Worked like a charm. Thanks man.

They really brought it on last night..... Did not see final stats but they did a good job of containing Ingram and Richardson some. they both still had some great runs.....

yeah. thought I'd have it done for a test ride on Sunday, but got sidetracked with other stuff. Got about 80% of turf done today. Have to shape a few dug-outs in the padding for the footholds, put the tray/floor piece on and do the bond rail. Then it's stickers and test ride. I'm at work late tomorrow and have a talent show for my oldest child so it'll be atleast tuesday before done. Might as well be next Spring as cool as it's been here for the last week! It went from hot and humid to cool and breezy in a snap. I bet the water temp is down 10 degrees in a week. Supposed to hit the 40's tonight. Booooooooooooooooooooo!
Yeah I checked the water temp today and it's 79 already. It's quite brisk compared to what's normal for us. After the initial shock though, it's not bad. Thankfully it's supposed to warm up again by the end of this week so maybe that'll give us just a couple more weeks.
I have to poke fun... The plan was to be on the water by the end of last weekend and now a week later, there is still more to be done. haha
