I agree. How tight you run the pole or it's length are personal preference mods. If it doesn't work for one person, it might work for someone else. It is very acceptable to set your ski up for you.

I used a dremel to cut down the shoulders around the tuning screws on my carbs when I installed the t-handle adjusters. Had to cut about 1/8th inch off so the t-handle wouldn't bottom out before the actual screw did.
I know they replenish the beaches with the sand, but why not dredge out the inlet and move the sand to the beach? Seems like they just got the sand from somewhere and made a mess of the place.
My raider had a twist trim. Yank the little finger adjuster on the grip and mod the nozzle a little and it gives you a ton more throw.

If it is slightly off, just disconnect the cable from the nozzle or turnplate, spin the collar a turn or two one way or the other and reconnect.
Move that ball on the turnplate to the outermost hole for quicker steering too.
