Yea the 900 is going in. I wanted to try a longer ski since all I ride is surf. Still keeping the 50cal until I get a good 3-4 months on the SVpro to make a decision.
Chris Zeski built the motor and told me to try that jetting. Motor rips pretty good. Ran standard jetting and there was always a low end hesitation.
Pipe is going in my new to me hull ( Tigercraft SVPro) it has a 148 Skat mag and this pipe was already in the hull so all inserts and mounting...
Running a Bpipe now on a 900cc 10mil Dasa,49 FS and a 148 pump. Changing to a PFP and water box. Jetting now 150p 130m popoff 21psi. How much if any will this change once I switch over? Going to run it as is but I am sure it won't be the same lol.
I would think the secondary market for this hull will be very strong. So even if you make the big jump now you will eventually get it back when you sell it.
One of my favorite stories about my dad is how he cashed in my savings bonds " intended for college lol " to help buy the wood to build a...
I disagree. IMO a kid can't progress when he's riding a ski that's way too big for him to fully control. This ski is more stable and proportioned for a small rider. Can a kid learn on a 300? Sure but they will progress 10x
faster on the NinjaX.
Young riders are what this sport needs and I am...
I am questioning weather this thread should even be in the market place. The Original poster is not selling a ski he is just referring you to a site and comnenting. Also for sale threads are not suppose to have negative remarks as per site rules. Not sure where it should go but whole skis for...
Yea it sure helps being around people that know what they are doing. Especially a Pro like what you are setting up. I am great full I ride with a group of very knowledgeable and skillful rides. Helped me progress at warp speed!
What was the original ETA Delivery date that Krash posted?
Do they have an official email or line of communication with all those waiting? In other words are they contacting you or you contacting them?
Has anyone done the math on building 150-300 skis in term of hours and man power required...
I think it's really great a manufacturer is targeting kids. I would like to build one just to let kids ride. TC Freeride posted a price on FB.
$5,500 Glass
$8,000 Carbon
One guy who rides with us all the time has an Edge. The 50cal rides nothing like it. The 50cal does not rail to rail like the Edge It turns off the tail and stays pretty flat unless you really push it. I can ride straight up a wave and smash the lip and ride straight back down. That's why I say...
The 50cal is a great ski! I can't say it enough... the thing rides like a surf/skateboard but is so stable. Riding Irma yesterday I really got to put the 50cal in some big surf and it handled it beautifully. No skis out there IMO can slash and destroy a lip or section like the 50cal Can.
10 month review on my 50Cal Stage 2
I have nose stabbed, Lawn Darted big time, big bails, flat landed and my ski is still solid as a Rock! Sure there are some issues but what ski doesn't have them when you ride in the surf and saltwater all the time.
BTW the ski rides awesome....slides when...
