I ride in the surf every weekend and have never had an issue with salt intake into AM filters, ya it gets a splash or 2 but not a big deal plus working around stock filter box is a pain. I would rather have a little water splash on the AM filters than have a giant gulp of water go into the stock...

I ride an FR-2 evo with no straps, since the hoods on the new rickters are so slim it is very hard to have the hood get blasted off from side impact or backflops. look at all the rickters in the surf boosting big, pros, amateurs, novice, no straps.

Why put the stock flame arrestor back on?

If the outside is tight it shouldnt be an issue, if you are concerned just through a bead if silicone around the ring and bolt it together should be good to go.

I have the same solas pump but with the solas stainless wear ring and mine is tight no gap, this is interesting maybe the stock wear ring has gap?

TC, gomez and a bunch of us surf riders over here on west coast use b-pipes, from dasa 1000cc engines to limeted 701s b-pipes can still produce the power to go big in the surf.

Ya hes a cool guy, i ride with him alot hes finally getting with the program and getting a rickter.

I have ridden that green ski, it was my buddy's good surf ski.

Who ever thinks Rok has cut ties with Rickter is smoking crack, he is not still charging hard on the team, sometimes when you have to travel out of the country you ride other peoples skis in shows because yours is hard to have as a carry on.
