I too used to ride a variety of water temps in the same week at times. I adjusted my cooling with ball valves for the varying conditions. I find it prudent with billet cylinders, as my last billet motor I didn't do it because I always rode 80+ water temps. When I moved and hit the 50 degree...
There is a lot more to "specialty" fuel formulations than just octane rating. All the information on the specific properties and values of these fuels such as VP, Sunoco and others are available online. Research these properties and then decide what's best for your engine/setup/ riding, or if...
Maybe look for a trade with someone that may want a long one first as opposed to cutting it. Or put it on the shelf for a later date and purchase a short one. It would suck if you needed it one day.
Well as far as having extra water for the pump to process after leaving the supply, I believe you are assuming that the pumps in our skis operate on a "suction" principle where as "head pressure" does not affect the processing. Lots of literature on how these pumps function as their principle is...
For a non competitor, where cc is not an issue as far a class placement, rec rider that is looking for the most power/fun for the buck where are you at with these 2 engines? I assume the 7 port 900 is actually more money than the "old" 10mm 1100. So if you could have one would you just go with...
"Harder than it looks", well it looks F'ing hard to me. I'm not sure I would ever be able to pull it off, especially how smooth he finishes the move and rides away.
If I had a choice, regardless of hull, to run a stock or a Limited Slip tank it would be the latter hands down. Nice thing about the Bot is that you can have discussions about what 5 gal tank you're gonna run in it. Not a lot of AM hulls that you are able to do that.
What's the black circle on the starboard side of the dash? Any pics of hood breather system? Good spot for the pole cushion, clean and out of the way. Does it provide enough resistance in that location with the leverage available so near the pivot point to protect your hood from pole slamming...
Actually pretty kool move that obviously requires an enormous amount of balance and skill. Now, take that move and instead of riding it out, link it to an underflip, 360 right, 360 left, BF, Bf, BF, Bulldog etc you get the idea.
I think you could make enough power to compensate for the weight difference ( which isn't 20lb if you go 78mm stroke on 62t) for less money. The, like I mentioned, is parts. Unless you convert to 62T electronics like XMetal does then ignitions are hard to come by. The 87mm bore and re plate...
Too bad you weren't at Body Beach in 2013 when Kavanaugh got on a WDK RokR 927. He was really airing it out, Advent, WDK wet pipe and SBN 46's. Ignition for sure where its at, a little decking, reshape the domes and change the divergence then ya got something. Whats the weight difference...
The few shots of Blaster riding show how it has really evolved and been pushed. Blowing it up as usual for this event. Great video, thanks for providing for us that can't attend.
IDK if this is in your budget but would be a great upgrade from a stock hood. The Blowsion and WDK Diablo hoods are pretty nice upgrades in both weight and airflow. http://www.x-h2o.com/index.php?threads/blowsion-cf-hood-nose.146323/
Well since ya put it that way. When shimming/centering drive shaft you are doing so to the mid shaft right? So put the mid shaft bearing in and then center driveshaft. Or if you have the CF tool like mentioned use it in place of the bearing. As far as shims, aren't always needed, my last hull...
