    Wow!..., No bushing at all? If you have some junk cases you can rob a bushing out of them.

    You may have a bigger problem... In the pictures it looks like the bushing that holds the back of the bendix, (inside the case) is shot. Clean that up and check it out. If the Bendix flops around in there It will bind up and cause you a lot of problems. The bendix should fit in that bushing...

    The 38's also use mostly all of the same parts except for one of the square rubber diaphragms on the pump side. One part of it is just a hair different for the 38's.

    If it's leaking out of that weep hole then the diaphragm is comprised somewhere. Hold it up to a bright light and check for pin holes. That diaphragm is about $19

    I heated the SS tube up and pulled it out. Then I ground the aluminum boss down and Tig welded it up and smoothed it out.

    Those look like 84mm domes 32cc. You are measuring the outside of the dome.

    Your mid shaft should never "wobble around". You need to address that issue. Your pump does need to be lined up. Cold fusion makes a nice tool for that. Then your mid shaft, then your motor.
