Advent T4 - anyone running one that works?

It's like ground hog day all over again. You'll keep getting the same excuses, until you give up ad ask for your money back. If the pc connected to it once...the problem won't be with the pc unless you've changed something. Either way, get your money back now and buy an ATP flame total...

    R e s p e c t

I'm with you on this one...if you want to step up to the plate and be someone, you have to be prepared to put yourself on the line, and take whatever comes with it. There will always be haters, no matter what sport you're into, but if you're really passionate about it, it won't matter that...

    Multi-channel MSD 2530 TL issues

Like I said though.....try flipping the pickup on it's mounting plate.....you shouldn't have to drill the hole bigger or anything, move it, flip it....etc, but modify as a last resort!!

    Multi-channel MSD 2530 TL issues

You can actually get a little bit of slop on the mounting holes....loose the pickups, push to the desired side and tighten down again. Also, if one of the pickups has been reversed for a neater wire run into the grommet hole, it will throw the timing out on one cylinder. The pickup cables...

    46 Novi's vs 46 Blackjacks

I've run both, and I'd take the Blackjacks. I only use Blackjacks on boats that I'm doing carb upgrades on now...They're so much easier to tune, cheaper to start with, and hit really well right through the rev range.

    Engine Builder Poll

Charging the battery every few rides and mixing Avgas with pump gas doesn't seem too daunting to me... I ride mine in the surf a lot, and treat it the same way as I did with my limited engines.....no hassles here.

    Engine Builder Poll

I've got this exact setup (right down to the cylinders you sold me Gil!) and I must say I love it. I thought it might be a bit much at first but I got EXACTLY what I wanted. Being on the other side of the world and the time differences, I relied on e-mail for communication. I shot off a few...

Max static timing for a long rod 5 mill on a enhanser & av100 fuel?

I don't think it really matters that it's a rad flywheel. Use the light to see what your actual timing is. Once you get that spot on, the ignition will do the rest. If you're guessing, you'll have no real idea where the max timing is holding at a certain rpm. Start low, and work your way...

    TL Starter relay plug

Hi guys, Can anyone help me out with a part number or a location of the plug to suit this starter relay? It's the standard sea-doo relay 278001802, and the same one that Watcon uses. I'e searched high and low, but can't find one that suits. It looks like a GM air temp sensor stlye plug...

    Ski gets a miss help

Hi Chris, How well is your ski tuned? Just for testing purposes, lean out your top end about a 1/4 of a turn. If it makes a substantial difference, you could chase it from there. Also, when it starts running like crap, pop off you flame arrestor and test. See if that makes a difference...

    Gel coat

The idea of flowcoat is that it's like a regular gelcoat, but it will harden when exposed to air...It contains all the right gear to make it happen. As WFO said, gelcoat is mostly for mold layups, nd will never truly harden, unless it's sealed in. Epoxy high fill primer on the bottom...

    Gel coat

I've had good results with flowcoat, but there is some good info here. Try to get a cheap gunn with a big tip, this way you don't have to think down the gelcoat/flowcoat as much.

Total loss and back firing problems

leaky needle and seat? maye the fuel pressure/heat from the sun is pushing past a leaky n&s causing it to burn the fuel right through to the waterbox? Alos, if it's a dual pickup, check the timing on both cylinders, one could be a bit out if the pickup has been flipped around to get the...

    Stuck pan-head allen bolts

If that fails, get a stainless washer and weld it onto the top of the bolt through the hole. Then, grab a nut or bolt and weld that to the washer. The idea of the washer is to get a bit more surface area to weld to, and so you can weld it the the stock bolt in the centre so you don't damage...
