Done it. Two Superjets in a shortbed on a 2x4 rack that had the bond rails sitting just above the bed top. Worked out pretty good for last summer but kind of a pain in the ass loading back in even with winches.

Forging a material does not make it more dense; the strength improvements are due to improved grain structure/flow. A forged part can actually be made lighter than it's billet equivalent... It's much easier to just machine a part out of a piece of billet than it is to forge it into shape, then...

Is there a price change for this vs the gelcoated/painted hulls?

I tried everything to connect to my EPIC with my Windows Vista laptop and Windows 7 desktop with no luck at all. Finally tried it on my Windows XP work laptop and it connected right away... Actually had to load maps onto two different EPICS this way.

Also, I regapped my solid-top BR8ES plugs to 0.022" before I took it out this time too. It had been running just fine all year on solid top plugs gapped ~0.028"
