Hey Mario.
I have never just milled down a head because it can affect your squish if you don't mill the head. I can't remember excatly what a good squish is but I believe it is around .040" to .060".
Check you squish first. If you have .060" then you can take off .020"
I know the feeling. It's real nice to get that first coat of primer on there and get everything the same color. I never thought the sanding was going to end.
Is the yamaha engine coupler the same as the tigershark? I accidently bought the engine side. I need the engine side as well and am hoping it will thread onto the yami crank.
I'll buy one. It would save me from having to design one up myself. Looks like I'll be building up my 5mm Able and wont be able to afford to build a superjet up after the engine build. I'll be wanting to throw this engine in the X2 in the spring.

WFO why do studs give you 30% more clamping force. I'd also be concerned about warping the cases by tightening the bolts...
Was trying to figure out how to mount mine tonight. I was going to build this engine for a SJ but after I build the engine there will be no more $$$ for the part that floats. Might as well break it in in the X2 next year. Did you make spacers to mount the cases to the bed plate?
Hey...JC's all f'd up. (he's sitting beside me freeking right now)
I sold them all...sorry
Have you seen the freestyle up trim I make as well as the steering cover?
Do it since the blaster chamber is so hard to get now. You can always get another SJ chamber.
Your setup is very similar to mine. Try and MSD total loss ignition. Mine made an incredible difference.
An aftermarket steering stem doesn't exactly mean you'll turn sharper. What it does it reduce the amount of rotation you have to turn the bars to get the same throw at the nozzle. In order to accomplish this the arm on the bottom of the steering is lengthened or the point where the steering...
