i would start here if you just got the ski. also fresh plugs and of course clean the entire fuel system. that eliminates any problems with fuel.

i had the same problem, only i bought the pipe after someone had tried to remove the screw. all i can say is go very slow with a good shape cobalt bit, lots of soap or drilling lube, and i had the best luck with alot of heat, it tends to break up the corrosion. btw, i had installed stainless...

i picked up a muzkito 50cc scooter for 50.00 from a guy who said it had no spark. i got it to my shop pulled the spark plug, it was fouled out. cleaned the plug with a wire brush, the thing fired right up and ran great!! i sold it two days later for 450.00!!!

well, the decision has been made just bought a 760 cylinder. "FRANKENSTEIN IT IS" :headbang:

against my better judgment, i was going to install a 1200 pv motor from them. something told my to look in the exh ports before i put the manifold on. so glad i did, two of the three cylinders were not even repaired! they still had the scoring from the last engine failure! one of them had chunks...

the great part is, i already have a set of cases clearanced for the 760 cylinder...:cheer2: im thinking the same....

ok maybe i might have confused the whole thing.. im going to go to a 760, its just a matter of 62t bottom end with twin carbs or 61x bottom, single carb...

ok so the bottom end in my b-1 finally let go (61x). now i have a choice, either snag the stock 760 motor out of my gp 760 and build a stock 61x to put back in the gp or take the good 61x bottom end and put a 760 cylinder on it? was thinking that the 61x with the single carb is very maint free...

how about a "pay it forward" section. where if you have an item that you just want to get rid of, and someone else "needs" that part, they pay for the shipping that's it. if you have a part post it, if you need a part look there first... i know why not just sell it, I'm not saying listing up...
