You will have to talk to Zig about the pricing, I think its approx $200.00? $150.00?? It makes a huge difference, maybe some Octane owners will comment about this. Zig is using curves I developed over the years, and he offers "pump gas" and race gas curves. Thanks, Randy

You need to check the timing. You can do it thru the inspection hole. The OEM CDI should have 18º at 2000-4000 RPm. Your ski might feel slow now because your old CDI might have been reprogrammed with a better ignition curve. Zig can get your new CDI reprogrammed with a better curve. Randy

The rings snagged in the ports on the downstroke,and the energy from the rotating mass didnt allow the piston to stop. When the piston couldnt stop, the ring acted as a lever and snapped off the top of the cast piston.

They are still available from Polaris, but big $$. Just put a Superjet fuel pick-up in there, but you will have to add an extra tube for the fuel tank vent. Randy

Try installing a smaller return line restrictor in the Novi return line. Usually the Novi requires between a # 60 (more fuel) and a # 100 (less fuel in the carb). Just toss in the #60 and see if it cures the problem, then you can experimaent with different sizes. This pistons look rich, but...

Watcon doesnt have any.. Wamilton or OEM Polaris is your best bet.. If it's a 2002 model, you need to update the hood latches to the 2003 style or run a permanant hood strap. Regards, Randy
