lol thats exactly what i was thinking, but thats fine since it will have its own area and wont be cluttering up the for sale forum where people are only looking for ski stuff.
ive been having the same problem. Art would contact me very regularly through email about my motor, but for the past 3 weeks or so he has been out of contact...no reponse etc...
im sure everything will be fine, but id like to know that for sure lol
i would refoam and then seal it up nice and tight. they usually have enough water in them even WITHOUT such a noticeable entry as you have in your tray.
the actual BODY of the starter? you must mean the lug...
yep, first step in almost anything electical with these things is checking the ground. not just that its tight but that it is clean and has a good connection. Corrosion is pretty high in resistance i have found :-)
glad its workin.
thats about right.
my freestyle ported 701 in my square has a TDR waterbox and rear exhaust only. i love the way it sounds. very deep and raspy without being much louder than stock at all.
Yep. I agree. a jacked battery with no load will typically meter well and appear ok until you apply a load and it just doesnt have the AMPS at that voltage to hold it. Amps are WAY more important to whether the starter cranks then voltage. otherwise we could start our skis with 8 AA batteries in...
i did the math once for my ski.
figure about a gross (144) of ping pong balls is ~$15 (the cheapest i could find)
one gross of those balls takes up ~7" x 5" x 12" volume.
it would be fairly expensive to do a ski. not unreasonable, but still.
a boat!? that would be pretty insane i think.
