i did the same thing. went from a weak badly needing a rebuild bone stock 61x to what i have now. it was stock pipe, everything. new 46SBN B pipe ported cylinder ada head at about 185psi impeller msd enhancer other stuff im sure but thats the bulk of it. and jsut like you it was a night...

no offense but if i am getting you right you want to do flatwater backflips with a near stock 61x!? not going to happen. if the cylinder is scarred then you are going to have to get a hone at the very least (provided its not TOO deep) if it is you might have to have it bored up a size or two...

now it comes back to bite you in the ass that you cant see what a sweet waterbox you have LOL all that time just to stuff it behind the gas tank...seems very very sad.

like i posted not too long ago, the black power band will be out soon and im saving my money for that one. should add a ton of bottom end. and i wouldnt use the gray sponge either, that for flatwater. the blue sponge is WAY more predictable in the surf. just my .02

that totally just reminded me! i have to get a new wammer freestyle sponge. my old one is crap.

i agree luck of the draw. i just ordered a Razor hood and nosepiece from him and about 3 weeks later it arrived at my parents house. *shrug* i dont know what to say, i guess shake your magic 8 ball before you order?
