what other oil is good to use as break in oil? i run klotz ski craft, but since its a synthetic oil i don't think it would be good to use for break in... can yamalube be used?

i am installing tubbies on my RN SJ i used 5200 and screwed them down, now i am sanding and prepping to glass over them, my question is, is it ok to sand down the little bit of 5200 left on the outside of the tubbie and just glass over it? its not a whole lot of 5200. should i do something...

i had problems with the coupler blowing holes in it... probly because it was not alinged right with the exhaust manifold. if you take the time to install it right it should be a great pipe. i belt sanded the "barb" off my manifold to make it easy to install the couplers on the exhaust...

i am in the process of defoaming, re-enforcing, etc etc... i am in debate of painting the eng compartment or just leaving it after glassing... those of you who have painted it, what paint did you use? rattle can? i think my biggest worrie is will it start to peel from a bit of water...

i noticed one side looks like chopped glass and the other is more uniformed, the fibres all go one direction. is there a top or bottom side when using this glass? its 12oz, and im putting the panels back on my tray that i cut out to de foam. thanks!

i have a Riva scoop grate on my RN right now. it was on there when i bought it. i see the worx is a very popular intake grate. how does this riva compare to the worx? i ride mostly flatwater, trying to do tricks... oh and i have a D cut stock rideplate too. thanks
