I rejetted the new motor and it just runs like ass. Motor is a 62/62 dual 38s (145H, 75L) Riva head 35cc domes, B pipe mod chamber, stock porting, modded CDI for no rev limit. Starts up the second I hit the button out of water, starts up fast in water...when I first get on it it rips my arms...

He only paid $25 so if he just wants what he paid its a steal for anyone who can actually put it to use.

Well you're looking at a 5mm+ cut in the domes, thats pretty fawking huge haha...compression would be super low. and your pistons wouldnt even hit the squishband, I really dont know how that would run, I wouldnt want to find out. The simple solution? Find out what stroke that head is cut for...

Oh I just noticed you're the one who bought that head from seatsr4toilets. Yeah that head is for a stroker thats why the squish is like that....I dont know how that would run on a non stroker....the squish would be wayyyyyyyy off and compression would be super low.

You shouldnt have an issue using a copper gasket though, the orings should seal with it no problem.

Water was shooting out of the plug hole? Yea id say you probably should have pulled the plugs first instead of trying to start it the whole time...you probably fcked it pretty bad haha.

Yeah no sealant needed. Just use vaseline on the dome orings to keep them in place as SuperJett said

Defineately a older Riva head. Dunno whats up with the aluminum half girdle though? You can run any girdle hardware with the head though, the head itself is the same as the newer ones that I have, so you can run ADA, Riva, whatever else for the girdle hardware.

Just like pistons come in single, a set of rings do too.

Yeah the bolt paterns on the 61x and 62t are the same, only difference is the 62t uses M10 1.25 bolts and the 61x uses M8 1.25

Here is the piston wash after 2 hours of riding or so...thick film of oil over the pistons as you can see with the finger smudge on the piston.... Should I drop the mains? 145 seems high for my setup compared to others with similar rigs.

The general consensus is to spend the money on getting your nozzle bored....everyone seems to get worse performance using the cone AND a bored nozzle
