I tapped the cylinder head for a second inlet to cool the motor. The squirter line was ran back into the hull through the scupper pick up and then into the head. I never tapped the exhaust manifold. I could post pics later if you need.
Maybe you had sand in the lines or you weren't getting enough flow. My ski runs cool and the second pisser has almost as much force as the original, primary one.
Cool thanks. My mechanic and I also widened the carb plate holes and the intake manifold hole to match the 46mm carb openening. Should be pretty sweet. My compression isn't as high as I thought. I lost a bunch of psi over the last season. My mechanic thinks we may need to re-ring the pistons...
I pull my blaster and 650sx with my '06 Civic. Been doing it for 6 years. no issues so far, but I do flush the tranny fluid every 80K miles just in case.
Any good? I searched for DG pipes and the pics I could find definitely matched the stinger in my pic, but the upper manifold looked different. Looks like I may have a Franken-Pipe. Hope it works well. I know it came from a running ski, so I am assuming it worked fine at some point.
The Blaster is the only sit down ski that has a forum section on this site, otherwise it's all stand-ups. Another good sit down site besides PWCToday is Greenhulk.net. Lots of good info on there for couches.
for $39 bucks I wouldn't expect much, but you wont know how good it is until you try it. I'm biting the bullet and picking up a Hero 3 black edition myself.
I was told this was a PJS exhaust for my 650sx. There are no markings on it. When I searched for PJS exhausts, they looked different than what I have. Any ideas what exhaust this is? I painted the stinger black. It was an oxidized aluminum color with plenty of scratches and dings. The upper...
Make sure you go with the synthetic blinker fluid. That's good for at least 10-15 more HP. If you want to go even faster, get the stage 3 stickers. I've heard amazing things about the flame stickers. I'm pretty sure the chrome flames are the fastest, but it may be model specific?????
I love the X and try to tell all my stand-up/B1 peeps about the site whenever I can. This site has been extremely helpful in troubleshooting my skis and also just to read the good info people contribute daily. Jetmaniac has provided my friends and I with many a part to keep us up and running...
