    If you deck .020" off your stock #122 (same as runabout) domes you will have approx 155Lbs cranking compression. Thats the maximum for 92 Octane pump gas. Its not like a Superjet that will allow up to 180 psi. The stock domes arent as good as the aftermarket domes from Polaris racing & R&D...

    Surfriding Strange spark plug issue

    Throw away the BLUE spark plug caps from Kawasaki (550 & 650 ignition only) and use B8ES (no resistor) plugs and set the gap at approx .022". Its possible the CDI is going bad, but try this first.. A weak ignition will be a larger problem in the surf, as opposed to fresh water... regards...
