We had great surf today! I tried to make this ski pearl, aiming it straight down some steep faces, it just won't do it. It turns very well, but different. Kev freaking nailed it!

I would have an SXR & run bouys if I could only ride flat. We drive 2hrs each way for good surf almost every weekend, its worth it. The local river is just for testing & tuning!

Always disconnect your battery when the ski is sitting all week. It will cut down on the corrosion if you have some salty moisture in there, and might also save your garage from burning down!

nobody asked what type of riding he'll be doing, surf or flat. I hate short handlepoles. Flatwater - super short pole is ok surfriding - only -2 or -3 Get a used Roundnose pole to shorten, they are the lightest and cheapest. The heavy stock pole you have now really stinks!

I used the regular cloth, cut into long skinny strips & stuffed it into the void untill it was less of a sharp angle. I'd also suggest to lay the full side's reinforcement layers at the same times as the void area vs sanding hardened void filler and then laying them.........

PSA is the self-adhesive type turf?

what did you use to glue them on before? With a good prep job and good Weldwood contact cement, it won't come off at all. The lack good coarse grit sanding (36grit) is usually why it comes off.......
