i had a similar prob.. then turned the highs in to 1/2 turn and bam!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! power.. rods surf that day and then flat tested some the next am to find i was only a 1/16 of a turn off form a good burn..
if you want more power and linearity of drive trains on the skis. the Rhaas products kawie to yamaha kit will allow you to run the yamaha motor in the x2. i run a twin 44, piped 62t in mine and it is very impressive.

all these symptoms are caused by bad cable.. resistance goes up and current demand follows until something fails. starter armatures will react to this just like a fuseable link does in a car.
blaster limited pipe, oem44's and a head on the way. clean up work on exhaust ports, port matched ex manifold and head pipe..

both of thse motors do not mount upright and the seado i know for sure has clearance issues. both motors also have very low intake tracts that on an x2 is a big issue since they WILL ingest water (just a given). an upright kit from waterdawg customs may fix the gpr to upright but the exhaust...
