Are the plugs wet with gas or fogging oil?
Did you open & clean out the carbs, pump & n/s side?
I'd suggest to siphon out the old gas and replace it.
I use small capfulls of fresh gas/oil in the sparkplug hole to 'test' start it instead of ether w/ no oil.

Jeez, really? If a person can't figure out how & where to put in drain & breather holes then they need a complete ready to ride hull, not a 'kit'.
Does the hood come with a liner that the customer installs or make their own liner?
Well I see you already put it back together now. But it's easy, you loosen the 2 phillips head screws that hold the stator on and turn the stator plate COUNTER CLOCKWISE about 3-4mm. It really wakes it up.
I have a DOT dirtbike helmet and a downhill mountain bike helmet. The MTB helmet is MUCH lighter and does not hold as much water, but I'd rather take a headshot when wearing the DOT dirtbike one.
I can tell the heavier helmet makes my neck sore.
The bad thing about the rope in cyl method is that all the force is right on your dome in the head which can crack.
I use a chain wrench (vice grips) around the flywheel.
I don't see how you can get the flywheel off w/o pulling the gastank. flywheel pullers taht I have seen will not fit...
