Do you really know what you have there? It is a very special ski and took a TON of man hours to build all of the custom pieces. If you have any questions regarding the build please ask me, I might have an answer. Oh, and I want to ride it when its done. If you bring it to the shop, I will...
That is a BIG step up from a 701 motor. But, if anyone can use the extra power it is "Mossman". You are a true freak, and have balls of steel!!!!!
Jeff
87mm is fine. I built Tom's (superramjet) with an iron sleeve and they are 88mm. Bonzai Bob and his crew are running 90mm on a nicasil bore. That seems a little on the extreme side, but they are not having any issues. The casting quality on the 66e cylinders is very high.
Jeff
Don't you mean, I am working on it. :djsmilie::Banane57::wiggle::headbang::headbang: It is going to be BADA$$!!!!!! Oh, and nice flips!!!! :fing02::fing02:
There is absolutely NO problem using the Wiseco pistons. If the clearances are right, then they will run for a very long time. Wiseco builds all our pistons, even the 98mm, and we have no problems with them. A forged piston will expand quicker, but if you build the motor knowing that...
The castings are NOT cheap because the water jacketing adds a ton of work. What you pay thousands for are the "patterns" that allow you to have castings made. Also, don't think that it will be right the first time around. It took us three times to settle on what we have today, and that is...
You never asked for pics. :puppy_dog_eyes: Just kidding. Here are a couple anyways. I might add that it is an A$$load of work to fab an exhaust, yet alone make one that runs the way it should. I wish someone else would design and build them so I could get it that way. There is very little...
You will only want the REV's knowing that you can NEVER go back to anything else, and I am not kidding. :thewave::friday::bigok: And the enclosures are a must to me personally. If you have any specific questions just ask.
Jeff
It is a "similar" design to the REV. It doesn't suprise me since he and his girlfriend were hanging around it for a couple of hours last year at Havasu. She must have taken a couple of hundred pics then. He is known in the industry to copy everything. It doesn't matter, I HAVE SOMETHING NEW...
New Wave!!!
But this is the new electric internal combustion engine/motor that runs on hydrogen ion methane mixture fuel that is produced using the third generation Mr. Fusion. And to accomodate the enviromentalists it has and "owl" combustion option for an addtional $1000. :Banane13:
Jeff
I am so pumped for you and hope to ride it soon. You attention to detail, and the craftmanship you put into it shows and you should be very proud of this accomplishment. With that said, "want a job?" And one more question, "are you ready for the 1200?"
Jeff
I know. It is a pipe dream!!! I think I will sell off everything and get me a "LAMEY"!!!! :thewave: NOT!!!! lol Only those who dare will ever know.
Jeff
