This is correct and same in jersey, but if you take the first 3 letters of your HIN and search the database it will tell you it's a state issues homebuilt hull.
I'm not attempting to piss on your parade, just stating facts. If you read through the USCG boat builders handbook it breaks down a...
Glad you got your hull registered and legit, but j find you have some false info.
Your HIN begins with KAZ, which if you search the MIC database on the USCG site, indicates it's a Kansas home built boat title.
Seems as though you jumped through a bunch of hoops and ended up in same place...
If run for long enough, misalignment caused harmonics and vibrations throughout the driveline.... Can't see why it couldn't attribute to premature crank failure, but going to be impossible to prove it
Jetting will not be the same, not sure on your setup but check the carb database thread for a similar setup to get you started

Nope, can't just swap stators, you would need to use a 61x flywheel with 61x stator or a 62t stator with 62t flywheel. Cdi may or may not work, I have heard both sides, never tried running mismatched cdi myself
Last ski I built I removed the flapper from the pump dump and made an alum plate to seal it, installed a short piece of PVC to make it a rear exit and used a versiplug max. Worked well.
As for the new predator with the rear dump I have not looked close enough at it to see if it's a round tube...
Could be worse Chris, at least the hull is untouched.
I have a clean set of carbs if that's easier than fixing what you got.
I also have plenty of beer, just let me know when your wrenching and I'll come give ya a hand
that's a brass fitting threaded into alum, welding would prob not be easy, im sure you could get a decent bolt extractor and get the remainder of the fiting out and then just install a pipe thread plug
normal and fine, the greenish paint on the rubber flakes off over time, when the black rubber starts peeling from the mounting plates then you need to worry
I have a watcon on my predator and it's been there for almost 2 years with no issue.
Krash just released their own hood seal, I have had my hands on it, but not installed/used to comment on longevity although it looks the part
this can be avoided by running parallel cooling, you can then tune engine and pipe temp independently.
Also good to note that in colder air temps the ski will require more fuel, as colder air is more dense
I use the jetworks restrictor, comes with 3 different size derlin inserts to change out so you can tune water temp. also they make stick on temp strips you stick on head to get your temp right
pretty sure the 09 superjets came with a 62t reduction nozzle, which means you already have a trim ring. If you wanted to change the angle of the steering nozzle you can modify the piece that holds the trim ring position and set the nozzle angle to your liking. If you want trim with a lever on...
