Any superjet UMI or AC racing pole can be used for sxr. You just have to get thicker bushings and grind out the left side for the cable holder bracket. Pretty sure I still have the bushings and cable holder, but all umi poles are sold and gone.
With that Notch cut out, it looks like it was a rowdy rooster or rooster shooter setup, not a drop nozzle. poopcan it and put a stock 750 , 650 or x2 setup if you want a drop
I just sell what is asked for. If they don't know what they're doing, that's not on me. That's why I give honest info on junk that does nothing when others don't, but it's not my job to educate a potential buyer on what I'm selling.
Dealer cost on those cast rrp poles was $630. New top end with what pistons? Wsm? Sbt? Ported by who? Some kid with a dremel? Usually when I read the listed parts and description by the seller, I can instantly tell if he built it or bought it that way and if he knows what he's talking about...
This is what worked perfectly and added power top and bottom over a single Novi 48 on a 96 superjet ported to the moon. Threw on oem duals from a 760 and jetted with this. Stock intake, carbs, airbox with carbon tech reeds. B pipe
If the base gasket is thicker than stock, port timing has been raised unless its been decked on the bottom. Somebody probably set the motor up the way it is for a reason. If you start changing things, it may run like crap. Lowering compression by changing the head or enlarging the combustion...
I take a 2 second look at it , with my buzzard eye vision, since I've handled a thousand of them. You actually don't even need to see it. It can be inspected by a blind man by touch only, if you know how its supposed to be.
Feel the proper resistance when turning the small gear. Feel for the...
It broke because you left threads exposed and that's where the diameter is the smallest and weakest. I always cover all threads with additional nuts to beef up that weakness. I've broke a lot of cables
You dont need to shake it, rattle it or roll it. A bendix in your hand takes all of a minute to fully inspect and check for all proper working conditions. You don't know if the weight separator plate is on its way out tho. You don't ever want any loose metal flying around in there. I've seen...
The small gear doesn't have enough resistance on it when you turn it in the direction it free wheels. The spring washers aren't working properly. That whole piece needs to be replaced. Thats why it cranks over forr a second and then doesnt.
A 2 second look at it tells if #17 is broke. Also the...
Reed spacer pulls the petals away from the turbulence of the spinning crank. Angled spacer directs the flow up towards the transfers. Adds crankcase volume which is and advantage or disadvantage depending on what you're trying to get or who you ask
Superfreaks were poorly constructed and if it was a light layup, even worse. Carbon hulls are suposed to be epoxy and glass hulls usually aren't. All depends on the builder. Most AM hulls were and are crap constructed out of the cheapest junk materials the builder could get his grubby hands on.
I could diagnose it in 2 minutes if it was in front of me. If it has no spark. The stator will have an open circuit/ broken wire. 2 second check with the cheapest ohm meter ever made. I forget what color the 2 wires are that get checked. Call me and I'll take a quick look and tell you. You...
