It will be under 1100cc. The IJSBA dropped a hint in this years rule book. The mention of normally aspirated <1100cc specifically being allowed in ski lites / stock.
Someone who is asking you for model and year is not a good deal. They may be giving you the lowest price but you'd be better served buying from someone who is clued in to what you have going on
It all depends on what your hopes and dreams are. Anything short of a full restoration will probably leave you with never ending problems. Even in "like new" condition these skis have questionable reliability
It could be one system failing or it could just be lots of wear on everything creating compounding issues.

Threads are probably damaged. I had one that was doing this once. What I did was modify the mounting bracket on the cylinder to get everything to line up better. This cut down on vibration and the threads never backed out again. I did use 100 Loctite also.
