The turn plates are the same throughout the years. You could ask shmity if he could sell you just the adapter and modify it yourself to work with an OEM cable. Its not an easy process though. You have to be very good with measurements and be exact where you drill holes and remove material...

Completely stock airbox. I removed the choke plates from the stock carbs and run a primer though.

All I did was duct tape the front 3 holes to reduce water intake. Works well with a mostly stock motor.

If you have a hooker already, swap it in and let us know the difference. From what I hear, it isn't worth it to buy a hooker if you already run an 08+ prop. I'm curious too.

If you want dual pissers with the stock head, just run an 1/8" line from the tiny outlet on the head to it's own pisser. Just have to make up an adapter from the 1/8" line to the 3/8" bypass fitting. I have mine set up this way and it works great. I just use the stock bypass fitting on that...

Yeah the ride plate was off for some pump work. I mostly ride with a stock d-cut plate.

Loosen it up and rotate it.

Find a decent used stator. Won't fix your steering cable clearance issues though.

Or buy a stock or aftermarket 96-07 RN pole and cable. Looking back, that's the way I would have gone from the start. Im running a heavily modified version of shmity1's setup. Basically just modified his bracket to work with an OEM 96-07 cable so I wouldn't have to rely on his cables in case...
