You can use the Yamaha 65R reduction nozzle from a 1999-2004/XL700 or 1998-1999/XL760 or 1997-1998/WV700-WV760 if you want a 155mm size nozzle without the trim setup which is part number: 65R-R1318-00-00.
Did you use the stock 144mm plastic pump shoe or the 155mm Blaster-II pump shoe?

I believe the most popular impeller for the Solas 144mm 12-vane pump is the Hooker 9/15 or 10/16. The hooker impellers are already cut back 7mm and if you purchase a regular Skat-Trak Swirl C+75 or the large hub Solas Concord YQ-CD you may want to have it cutback to get your pump load correct.
You should have been using a lightened & balanced 1200 65U flywheel to keep the rivets from vibrating loose which would have considerably less stress on the crank snout from that heavy flywheel but over torqueing the crank bolt is also the major contributor.
