    x2 24-7 nose and 650 electrics

    I didn't realize it was a prototype piece. I retract my criticism.

    turfing xft footholds

If they're still turfed from Sergio, carefully remove the old turf with acetone and use it for a template. If not, you'll have to make your own template. The only thing I can tell you for sure is that it's a single piece with only one seam. Use plenty of heat. It's pretty tough.

    x2 24-7 nose and 650 electrics

YOUR work looks fine......it's the piece that looks rough.

    x2 24-7 nose and 650 electrics

    I hope it's cheap cuz it's pretty crude looking. It's asymetrical also!:burnout:

New noise/vibration/twang... help me find it

Check for cables(throttle/steering). They make terrible noises when they vibrate against the hull. Same thing for fuel and cooling lines and filters.

    Quiet down that X-Metal Waterbox

    1. You add water to your lightweight waterbox so now it's heavier than a stocker??? Hahaha!!!!!!! It's only about 2.5 pounds lighter to start with. 2.Why don't you add a sprayer to the OE waterbox while still using the FC valve that keeps it dry? I'm sure you did lose...

    WCF top deck conversion

I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but spigot mount carbs really don't survive in yamahas. Seadoos aren't typically bad shakers like yamaha so that's why they can get away with using them. Most yami people haven't been able to keep them working even after trying many different types of...

Got the itch for more power...

Norcal has a nice motor for sale at a good price. I'll say this, though. The Lamey is a nice setup and can run good, but if your OE cylinder is built well it can run every bit as well. All things equal, an unported Lamey will run better than an unported OE cylinder. Once ported(properly) the...

    My New 2008!!!

That's awesome. You'll like it. I got to ride Yamacat's new '08 last weekend and it's really nice. I may well upgrade my XFT when Sergio starts making an '08 based carbon hull. I think it's gonna end up being the new standard for all around play/freestyle/race hulls. Congrats!:fing02: Charles

The pump combo may not be absolutely perfect, but it isn't far off. I believe he's a bit rich on the bottom. The only thing the perfect pump setup will do is help cover up the other issues. He's got a pretty good challenge ahead getting that motor to work like it should.

What motor do you need for backflip

    What the HE!!

I think in pictures 1 and 4 you're seeing the lower edge of the piston. NOT the sleeve. If you disregard the edge of the piston, the sleeves look the same.
