question about time for a 62t case

I don't think so. A mechanic that does this for a living has to make something and to do it right and clean up old sealant might easily take a couple of hours. I'm assuming they had to remove your coupler as well. Too much money if it was a buddy helping you, but maybe not so bad for a shop...

    Upgrade cases or ignition??

Installation is the key. You can always rig it to be enclosed in an OEM box or other housing like Geraban does also. The bottom end hit is hard to beat. Charles

    Upgrade cases or ignition??

Not even close in bottom end snap, IMO. Plus, where do you go when your inferno blows up? Not much feedback from real people running them as of now, either. Maybe one or two. There are lots of spare MSD TL parts around. Before anyone flames, that's just my opinion. Charles

    magnum pump for frestyle

I don't believe very many people have the power(those in the previous thread included) to require a 144 mag. The only guys that are reaching the threshold of requiring a bigger pump are CGRacing, Malone, and some of the 800 based motor guys. The 140 can efficiently handle all the power that...

    Waterdawg's 1200cc R.E.V.

I agree. I wouldn't pay 400 bucks for turf, but I would charge that or more. Charles

    Waterdawg's 1200cc R.E.V.

High quality turf can easily take longer than 2-3 hours. Average turf probably does only take 2-3 hours. Depends on how good you are and how much pride you take in your work.:haha: Charles

round nose cover that fits xmetal pole and bars question?

The OEM vacu-hold cover fits perfectly w/bars/pole and doesn't flap if you use a bungee under the middle. You can use mine to go pick up the boat. I believe I may even have an extra one new in the box. I'll have to look. Charles

That's true. I've used C-4 to boil water many times in the USMC. Funny! Charles

Perhaps if you exclude the OEM roundnose box. Solution looking for a problem IMO. Charles

    X metal

Not if you run the stinger dry which most of us do also. A JW valve and/or a restrictor doesn't let much water accumulate. I don't hate the thing, I just find it interesting and a bit hypocritical that the same people that bag on AM waterboxes for any other boat say this one rules. I've been...

    Jetinetics Charging Flywheel and timing

Chuckie is right. After you put it on, check your timing carefully with the light at a number of different r's and see where you are. It'll be pretty obvious what you need to do after that. Not a bad idea with JSS reworked stators either. Charles

    X metal

Either way, be prepared for a loud ass ski. I'm not speaking to your situation in particular, but this jet ski "cult of personality" is an interesting phenomenon to watch. All day long in the vintage section of this and the other forum, new guys ask if they should buy an aftermarket waterbox...
